Thich Nhat Hanh is now 82 and has been smiling for a long time and he now doubt has seen turmoil in his homeland of Vietnam but he has also experienced untold happiness from his work of helping others. Surely we can benefit form his words about smiling.

If this quote sounds familiar, you're right, it is! But this quote bears repeating.

We all smile for many joyous reasons but what can do when we don't feel like smiling? Like he quote above we can push that smile out. It may be very difficult but if you really try to put on a genuine smile even when you do not feel like it you will soon overcome the negative feelings you may be experiencing. Recalling what you have to be thankful now and in the future can help bring that smile and joy out of you!

I have known many people who have seen this work. So today and for as long as you can remember too: smile! Smile, even when things aren't so well and maybe, just maybe the smile you forced out CAN be the source of your inner joy.
