"Players with fight never lose a game, they just run out of time" — John Wooden

"Players with fight never lose a game, they just run out of time" — John Wooden

Are you a winner or a loser?

Some of us may have been unfairly called losers in life but, if you put Coach Woodens' spin on it, you never really lost; you just ran out of time. The moral of this quote is that life and sport are comparable. They bring us high and knock us down. They require effort and exertion but both have set time limits. The other and more important moral of this quote is. Never give up! We may not achieve all we intended to achieve or win every game we play but don't stop before the final whistle blows. Losers quit before time is up. A winner plays every minute and doesn't give up a single moment too soon. Don't give up; See it through, play till the last second - that defines a true winner.

Are you a winner?
