Solving problems Even When the Cause Remains

"We may need to solve problems not by removing the cause but by designing the way forward even if the cause remains in place."

Edward de Bono

Not all problems can be solved by their removal, some we must learn to live with but that doesn't mean they rule our lives. Helen Keller, whom I quote often had a quite a few problems but did that deter her being an amazingly motivational individual who accomplished so much despite being "disabled"?

In many respects we all have more ability than her but less desire, less drive and less-compulsion-to-act.

She did not let the problems she faced define her or keep her down. Neither should you. If there is a problem you cannot remove learn to 'improvise, adapt and overcome!'
