Stop Saying You cannot; Say You Will! 6-15-11

When I believe I can, then I acquire the ability to do it even if I didn’t have it in the beginning ~Mahatma Gandhi

Gandhi encourages us to try. He wants us to believe we can do anything we want to because, even if we do not have the skills at first we will obtain them because we decided to get them. Yes, the quote is a little different in a sense its almost putting the cart before the horse. However, I think it has more to do with the fact that we HOLD ourselves back out of fear and not out of inability. There are so many things we want to do in life. Think about work and home or family and social life. So much you want to accomplish but we don't! WHY? Fear. Fear of failure, fear of looking foolish, fear, yes of being wrong. Stop bearing fearful. If early explorers were fearful we would have never discovered new worlds. If scientists were fearful of being wrong we never would have discovered cures for age old afflictions. If your parents were afraid of being hurt YOU would never have arrived in this world much to the despair of all who love you!

What will you believe or ACCEPT that you REALLY can do today? Then get started.

Have a great day and a better tomorrow!
